is it too early for Doritos?

Scholarship application is due Monday. I need to give a rough draft of my proposal to advisor today. I am presenting in Journal club this afternoon and had to present in lab meeting yesterday. I didn't think it would be too hard as I had put a proposal together for my committee meeting earlier this year. Except do you know how hard it it to pair down a 5 page proposal to 1. hard..

I'm sorry. No Doritos where they might end up as little orange streaks on the paper.

It is NEVER too early for Doritos? It's Dorito-o-clock somewhere!

They don't give you a break on presenting duties around deadlines? Seems a little harsh...

When you're cutting something down by as much as 80%, it's sometimes easier just to start from scratch, IME

Good luck with everything! And try to enjoy your weekend... I'll be writing "that post" at some point, hopefully!

SZ - at 11:30am I decided it was not too early, but apparently you and my bank are colluding as the bank card refused to work

Anon - I think PiT would totally agree with you!

Cath - Oh gosh this lab is anything but harsh. Lab mtg can be cancelled but I find its the only time I actually look at my data. The JC is very casual, so its not meant to be stressful, we actually decided to split the figures, I'll present the first 3 and then everyone else will take turns. I just freak at presenting, as I'm not very confident plus this appl is taking longer than I expected. I did just pass off the rough drafts though! now its time to read a paper :)

Dang. Doritos are the breakfast of champions, I'll have you know. At least that's what I've always said. Anything that'll get you through your presentations/proposal stuff.

I am totally down with jc's statement that it's NEVER too early for Doritos? Why would you even think to ask?
