Must not freak out

Its just a committee meeting. Nothing more. It is NOT a test. They are here to help me. To make sure that I have a viable project. There is not reason to freak out.

Good luck! Though I'm sure you won't need it.

They're there to make the project great! So take advantage of them. Ask them questions!!!

Thanks everyone! It was this morning, I didn't fall flat on my face, but I didn't kick ass either. The nerves got the better of me and made me forget information. They were however very helpful and good at pointing out the caveats and where to be careful.

Yay for not falling flat on your face. I'm glad it's over and even better, I am glad you got some info. out of it. I always had a love/hate relationship with my committee. I dreaded all the planning and that inevitable insane need to just get one more piece of data, but I liked getting all the input and suggestions.

First one is always the worst.... but I am sure you did fine! They are supposed to help, sometimes they forget thought.... which is when I get mad.

Good luck with the rest of it!! You'll shine I am sure!

I was going to wish you luck but I see I'm too late! Congrats on getting through it. And Chall is right--each one is easier than the last.

It's late, but these sorts of things will get easier and easier. By the end, even though you won't necessarily know it, you'll have moved past their knowledge base, and you'll be the expert.

But it's painful going, no doubt about that.
