Its MY Towel.

Why do men smell like ass??? Or is it just my husband? I'm pretty sure its not, because I distinctly remember reading about this issue on another blog. What issue? The smelly towel after you've showered issue. I can re-use the same towel for a few showers. My husband can not. I am now extremely irritated because I just finished taking a shower and now I smell like ass from drying off my body with my towel (I just took it out last night, it was fresh!). Mr.SM used my towel this morning after his run and now it STINKS, which I didn't realize until after I tried off. I don't get it. He took a shower, used soap but his towel stinks after ONE use. Now either I take another shower now, or one in the morning.

URGH... must go put monkey to sleep. the mister tried but I guess the boy still needs his mama. Yeah!!

PS. He fell asleep in my arms last night, after two nights of not. YEAH!

I wouldn't say L's towel smells like ass, but it does smell like mildew and I don't understand why he doesn't notice. He doesn't smell like mildew but still, how can he put that towel on his face without gagging. His shoes are another story. That smells like ass.

Mr E Man does not seem to have this problem, we even share our towels. (Although I do know what you mean, one male friend had his towel hanging up in his bathroom at a party and it STANK). Are your guys dumping them on the floor when they're still wet?

BTW Best word verification EVAH! It is upsista. I kid you not.

microXX - mildew is probably a more correct description, but since I have no idea what ass really smells like, mildew = ass to me.

Cath - No he doesn't leave them on the floor, that he is very very diligent about hanging them up and letting them dry.

Mimi - he's fallen asleep with me again, it is nice to know he's not out of the baby stage just yet.

The towel is serious business in our house. Using Mommy's towel is akin to declaring war. Nothing pisses me off more than grabbing my towel, wiping myself off with it, and finding little hairs stuck to me. Mr. Isis is one hairy dude and I typically request that he keep his business contained.

My husband towel usually smells bad- but bad in a moldy way, not a BO way. This is because he flings his towel on the rack and bunches it up and it doesn't dry properly. I, on the other hand, am anal as all hell about the way I hang up my towels- nice and smooth, and then they are always fresh and stink-free.

You know... you are sooo right about the towel. His always smells slightly mildewy, no matter how recently it has been laundered. I wish he could keep track of which hook is his but he seems not to care.
